I was cruising the St. Lawrence River on a friend's boat when we passed this Little Free Library hanging out at the end of a dock. It was a decade ago and one of the first times I'd seen one. Now I find them everywhere. What started as a whim in 2009 by Todd Bol in Wisconsin, is now a nationwide phenomena. The Little Free Library is now a non-profit organization. The library app can be downloaded for free and has a map that allows you to find a little free library in your neighborhood. I had some books left over from my book launch of The Painting and decided to donate these to the Little Free Libraries in my region. I downloaded the Little Free Library App and it worked amazingly well in helping me find ten libraries within a 30 mile radius of my home in Central New York. I can't drive around to every LFL in the nation but you could help me. I couldn't attend the Printers Row Lit Fest and now have more books to give away. If you would like one to read and then pay it forward to your LFL contact me and provide me the address where to ship it. Then send me a picture of your LFL!
